When you just need a vacuum, the Combi Washer can be used without fluid for fast cleaning of dry dust and debris. For a full, hygienic clean, the Combi Washer can vacuum and wash at the same time to deliver a comprehensive deep clean of wet and dry debris.

You will be able to wash up to 60 m2 with one tank of clean water. Also, it will keep the dirty water in a separate tank to ensure the maximum hygiene. Perfect for homes with children or pets that need the flexibility of wet and dry cleaning in one machine.

Questions and answers

The machine refuses to start

Cause:
The wire is not plugged into the power outlet.

Recommended action:
Pluck the wire in the power outlet.

Cause:
The brush is blocked.

Recommended action:
Clean the brush (you can use the knife which is already located in the hard floor nozzle).

You cannot plug in the handle into the body of the machine

Cause:
The wire in the handle is "bent."

Recommended action:
Rotate the handle one to two times clockwise or anti-clockwise, and the handle will go into place.

The brush stops rotating

Cause:
The brush is blocked.

Recommended action:
Remove the things in the nozzle which blocks the brush; for example, a towel or hair (for hair you can use the knife which is already located in the hard floor nozzle).

The machine leaves water on the floor when it is turned off

Cause:
There is always some water in the machine when it is turned off. This water can run out after the machine is turned off.

Recommended action:

Turn the machine on again after ten seconds and let it run and suck up the small water pool for another ten seconds.

Put the machine back on the tray after the cleaning job.

There is a bad smell from the machine

Cause:
The dirty water tank is filled with dirty water. The filter and brush are filled with dirt, hair, and other things.

Recommended action:

Empty the dirty water tank. Clean the filter (remember to open the lid and clean underneath), air channel inlet, and the brush (you can use the knife which is already in the hard floor nozzle). Add 50 ml of clean water in the tray, start the machine, and let it run for 30 seconds. The pips within the machine will be clean.

Always take the brush out of the nozzle and place it vertically on the tray for drying.

The machine leaves strips on the floor

Cause:
You have been using a detergent with too high a concentration of soap or a detergent, which is not soap. The squeegee underneath the floor nozzle could be damaged.

Recommended action:
Use the detergent which Nilfisk provides, because this detergent has the right amount of concentrated soap, along with clean water. It will not make any strips on the floor. Replace the squeegee.

The floor is not wet immediately when the machine starts

Cause:
The brush is dry when the machine is turned on.

Recommended action:
Wait for ten seconds after the machine is tuned on. The brush will then completely wet and will work optimally.

The floor underneath the floor nozzle does not get very wet anymore

Cause:
The water outlet in the nozzle strip is nearly blocked with calcium or other smaller particles, which make it difficult for the water to pass.

Recommended action:
Leave the nozzle trip in a bowl which contains a mixture of acid and water for 24 hours, and the calcium or dirty smaller particles will most likely be gone.

Dirty water runs out of the machine

Cause:
The dirty water tank is completely full.

Recommended action:

Empty the dirty water tank. Clean the filter (remember to open the lid and clean underneath), air channel inlet and the brush (you can use the knife which is already in the hard floor nozzle). Add 50 ml of clean water in the tray and start the machine and let it run for 30 sec. then the pips within the machine will be clean.

Always take the brush out of the nozzle and place it vertically on the tray for drying.

No water comes out of the nozzle

Cause:
You are not using the water tricker in the back of the handle, or there is no water in the clean water tank.

Recommended action:
Fill up the clean water tank and activate the water tricker.

How much detergent should be added to the fresh water tank to get the optimal cleaning performance?

Recommended action:

Use the marking on the fresh water tank and add the Nilfisk detergent.

The suction is not as good as before

Cause:
The filter is blocked with dust and other things, and the socket in the floor nozzle could also be nearly blocked.

Recommended action:
Clean the filter (inner and outer) and clean the socket in the floor nozzle.

When pushing the lid opening button in the top of the nozzle, the lid might, in a few cases, not open up by itself

Cause:
The lid is designed to be tight. If the spring has not been used for a long time, it might not work in the beginning, and the lid will stick to the nozzle.

Recommended action:

Use a finger or a screwdriver to help open the lid.

When the lid has been opened a few times, it will open automatically when you activate the button.
